This policy explains what data MYTESTPRO LLC ("MyTestPro", "we") collects when you use our self-knowledge platform, why, and what rights you have. The short version: your answers exist to compute your results and write your readings — nothing else. We do not sell your data, and we do not show ads.

1. Data we collect

Account data: email address, name, interface language.

Profile data you choose to provide: gender and age range (used to calibrate the voice of your readings and for aggregate analytics).

Assessment data: your answers, computed dimension and sphere scores, result types, and the readings and plans generated for you. We treat this as sensitive personal data and process it only with your consent, which you give by taking an assessment.

Purchase data: what you bought, when, and payment status. Payments are processed by our payment providers; we never receive or store your full card number.

Technical & usage data: device and browser type, approximate region, pages and funnel steps viewed, and product events (e.g., "assessment completed"), collected via our analytics provider to fix problems and improve the Service.

2. Why we process it (and legal bases)

To provide the Service — run assessments, compute scores, generate your readings and plans, maintain your account and purchases (performance of contract).
To generate readings, your answers and scores are processed by our AI provider acting under contract as our processor (consent; contract). AI transparency: your personal readings are composed by an AI model from your answers; they are generated individually and are not reviewed by humans by default.
To send transactional email — sign-in codes, receipts, important service notices (contract; legitimate interest). No marketing email without your separate consent, and every marketing email includes unsubscribe.
To understand and improve the product through analytics (legitimate interest), and to compute anonymous, aggregated statistics (e.g., percentile comparisons shown in-product) that never identify you.
To comply with law, prevent fraud and abuse (legal obligation; legitimate interest).

3. Who we share data with

Only service providers under data-processing agreements, strictly to run MyTestPro: hosting and database (e.g., Vercel, Supabase), AI reading generation (e.g., Anthropic), transactional email, product analytics (e.g., PostHog), and payment processing. We may disclose data if required by law. We never sell or rent personal data, and we never share your answers or readings for advertising.

4. International transfers

We are a US-based company; data is processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. Where required (e.g., for EEA/UK users), transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. Retention

Account, assessment, and purchase data are kept while your account exists, and purchase records as required by tax and accounting law. If you delete your account, we delete or irreversibly anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except records we must retain by law.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including GDPR and CCPA rights), you may: access a copy of your data; correct it; delete your account and data; restrict or object to processing; withdraw consent; port your data; and complain to your supervisory authority. To exercise any right, email us — we respond within the legally required timeframe. We do not discriminate for exercising privacy rights.

7. Children

The Service is for adults 18+. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18; if you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Cookies

We use only essential cookies/storage (sign-in session, saving your quiz progress) and first-party analytics. No third-party advertising cookies.

9. Security

Data is encrypted in transit, access is restricted by row-level security and least-privilege access, and sign-in uses one-time email codes instead of passwords. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat your answers with the care that this kind of data deserves.
